Reference case Info Support

Info Support has, since its establishment in 1986 (the year in which TechText was also founded), developed and managed innovative and solid software solutions for a large clientele. The operating procedure employed by Info Support is characterised by four core values: solidity, integrity, expertise and passion. The cooperation between Info Support and TechText dates back to 2001, and initially involved only translation activities. However, since 2009 TechText has also been responsible for writing a wide variety of texts, including website content, reference cases, tender documents and service and product descriptions. Info Support is highly impressed with the quality of the products supplied, the technical knowledge of the TechText staff, and also the speed and flexibility with which assignments are performed. In other words, it is without a doubt a cooperation they wish to continue!

Erika Grotens is a marketeer in Info Support's Sales Support & Marketing department. In this capacity, she is responsible for much of the contact with TechText. Erika explained how the cooperation began: "TechText and Info Support first came into contact with one another in 2001. At that time, TechText was only supplying us with translations from English into Dutch and vice versa. After a while, we received a client mailing listing TechText's full range of services, including their various writing activities. At the time, we were on the lookout for a new partner for our texts, so we engaged them to perform a pilot project. The pilot was a success, so we immediately began using TechText for a wide variety of commercial material."
Technical knowledge and fast delivery
When asked what kind of texts she was referring to, Erika elaborated as follows: "Texts for our website, for reference cases and for descriptions of specific aspects of our services and products. Texts of this nature are often the result of an interview that TechText has conducted with one of our clients, or with one or more experts from our own organisation. In addition, TechText is, when the need arises, still responsible for providing any translations we require."
On Info Support's satisfaction with the cooperation, Erika said, "What impresses me about TechText is that the writers possess the technical knowledge which is necessary to produce quality texts on our often specialised services. For us, this is a definite prerequisite for any agency. This knowledge enables TechText to distinguish quickly between matters of primary and secondary importance, and allows us to spend less time on briefings. Furthermore, TechText is always extremely flexible when responding to our requests for new texts, and appointments are made quickly. Also, the final texts are delivered with the same speed, and also of a high quality."
Large-scale project
Based on those positive experiences, Info Support recently also engaged TechText for a larger-scale project. Erika explained: "What's more, it consisted two consecutive stages of a large tendering procedure. In the past, we'd often even had difficulty translating the technical content to the context of the client. Based on interviews with our experts, TechText succeeded in explaining complex subject manner clearly and transparently - an approach which has proved very successful. Overall, Info Support is very satisfied with the quality of service TechText provides, and we definitely plan to continue the cooperation in the future!" |
